I came to know Dan Gazarek through his work as one of the volunteer coaches of the 2014 Clarington Junior Varsity Knights. Dan was one of my son’s coaches. From the beginning, I could tell that Dan knew his stuff. Dan was very good at getting his players to believe in themselves. He was an extremely positive person. Dan was also a great communicator. Practices run by Dan were very well structured, good at teaching fundamentals and new techniques. Dan pushed his players to challenge their limits.

Prior to Dan’s arrival, the team was winless in 8 games in 2013. This year the team went 7 and 1 through the regular season, only to lose to the top ranked team in Ontario in the league finals.

I highly recommend Dan Gazarek as a football coach, teacher, mentor and motivator. Thanks to Dan, my son is a better person today, both on and off of the field.
