KF Football runs youth football training for Pickering kids aged 8 to 16 on Sundays at The Competitive Edge in Ajax. From Pickering City Centre at 1355 Kingston Rd, the drive is about 9 minutes and 6 km with no traffic.
Pickering FC is a soccer club. We coach gridiron football, the game played in the CFL, and we have trained athletes in Ajax since 2013.

UA Flag Durham plays Friday evenings at Archbishop Denis O'Connor CHS, 80 Mandrake St. Its Rise house league is for ages 5 to 13. The fall 2026 season ran September 4 to October 23, and registration is closed as of October 2026.

The Dolphins play at Bev Morgan Field
The Durham Dolphins practise and play at Bev Morgan Field, the artificial turf at Pine Ridge Secondary School, 2155 Liverpool Rd in Pickering. The field seats up to 800.
The club was the Ajax-Pickering Dolphins until it rebranded in 2014, and its mailing address is in Ajax. Its fall 2026 practices are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Our sessions are on Sundays.

No Pickering high school played LOSSA football from 2023 to 2026
LOSSA runs high school sport in Durham, football included. We went through its football seasons from 2023 to 2026. No Pickering school had a team in any of them.
Pickering High School is in Ajax, and it is not on the 2026 list either. Dasani McIntosh played there for coach Cam Lee. He went on to Davenport University, then Western, where he is a receiver in 2026.
A Pickering high school player can still get game reps with the Dolphins in summer. In 2026 they had U16 and U18 teams in the summer league, with games from May to July.

Sundays with our coaches
Players train in two age groups, and the drills are tailored to different positions. Coach Keith Godding, who was born in Ajax, played receiver at Bishop's University and four games for the 2010 Toronto Argonauts.

- Ages 8 to 16, in two groups: 8 to 11 and 12 to 16.
- $99 a month + HST. A second child gets 25% off every payment.
- Each block is 8 Sundays, and you can join on any Sunday.

- For fall 2026 and summer 2027, Football Ontario puts players born in 2017 or 2018 in U10, the first tackle group. U10 plays 6-a-side tackle. The club confirms each player's group.
- Is there girls' flag football near Pickering?
- Durham Sports Academy in Ajax lists an all-girls flag football night. UA Flag Durham says its girls' program is not offered at its Ajax location at this time.
- Does my kid need their own equipment to play for the Dolphins?
- For fall 2026 the Dolphins listed equipment as loaned to players, and players kept their game jerseys.
